Chili is a hearty and flavorful dish that is perfect for a cold day. It's also a great way to use up leftover ground beef or turkey.
To make chili, you'll need:
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 (28-ounce) can of crushed tomatoes
- 1 (15-ounce) can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15-ounce) can of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15-ounce) can of corn, drained
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
